How to Care for Your Eyeglasses

• Use both hands to put on and remove glasses so the frame stays aligned.
• Store them in a case, never lens-down on a surface.
• Clean lenses daily with lens spray or mild soap and lukewarm water, then dry with a clean microfibre cloth.
• Avoid leaving glasses in hot cars — heat can damage coatings and warp acetate.
• Avoid paper towels, clothing and household glass cleaners on lenses.

Weekly check

Look for loose screws, bent nose pads and build-up around the lens edge. A soft toothbrush with soapy water gently cleans hinges and pads.
