Sunglasses need to fit as well as optical frames, with a few extra considerations: coverage, glare and how they sit with a hat or helmet.
- Coverage: lenses should cover your eyes fully when you look straight ahead, ideally reaching close to your brow.
- Stability: sunglasses should stay put when you look down. If they slip, try a narrower bridge or adjustable nose pads.
- Temple grip: sport and wrap styles grip more firmly than fashion styles.
- Lens height: if you want progressive prescription sunglasses, choose frames with taller lenses.
