A printable ruler is a convenient way to measure PD if you do not have a millimetre ruler at home. Accuracy depends on printing at exactly 100% scale.

  1. 1

    Print at 100%

Disable "fit to page" or "scale to fit" in your print settings.

  2. 2

    Check the scale

Place a credit-card-sized card on the printed calibration box. A standard card is 85.6 mm wide; if it does not match, adjust your settings and reprint.

  3. 3

    Cut along the edge

Cut carefully along the dotted line so the scale starts at the edge.

  4. 4

    Measure

Follow the steps in how to measure your PD.

We don't provide a printable ruler. Any physical millimetre ruler works the same way.
